Effective 6 October 2026. This policy covers the Tidyroll app for iPhone and iPad, made by Eliteviber.
Tidyroll looks at your photo library to find duplicates, similar shots, blurry photos, big videos and Live Photos. All of this happens on your iPhone or iPad, using Apple's built-in tools. Tidyroll has no servers and no code that sends anything over the internet.
To compare photos, Tidyroll uses small versions already stored on your device. Scanning never downloads anything from iCloud.
The only time a photo comes from iCloud is when you ask for it: if you open a photo or video that's stored only in iCloud, or convert a Live Photo that's stored only in iCloud, Apple's Photos framework fetches it from your own iCloud Photos. Tidyroll never uploads anything.
Everything Tidyroll saves stays on your device:
Deleting Tidyroll deletes all of it.
If "Keep scanning while charging" is on (it is by default), iOS may let Tidyroll carry on checking new photos in the background while your device is plugged in, often overnight. It never uses the internet, and it stops when you unplug, when the device gets warm, or in Low Power Mode. You can turn it off in Tidyroll's Settings & details.
You can share a picture of how much space you've cleared. It's only an image with a number and the Tidyroll name: no photos, links, names, dates or places. It goes to Apple's share sheet, and nothing is sent unless you choose an app to send it with.
Tidyroll contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking code, and no third-party software development kits. Its App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected.
If you've chosen in iOS to share analytics with app developers (Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements), Apple may share anonymous crash reports with us. That's Apple's feature, and you can turn it off there.
If you contact support, we receive what you choose to send, such as your email address and message. We use it only to reply to you, never for marketing, and we delete it on request.
You can ask to see or delete anything you've sent us. If you're unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Tidyroll collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the effective date at the top. Tidyroll will never start collecting data without saying so clearly first.
Tidyroll is made by Eliteviber, based in London, United Kingdom.
